I'm Danny, first of all a football fan who has not only played and coached for many years here in the UK but I have watched, loved, and sometimes loathed thousands of games across the levels since the mid 1980's from grassroots to elite level and after becoming a DATA Scout in 2022 it gave me a fabulous opportunity to share going to different grounds with you...

​

My aim with this blog is to provide a quirky look into my life in football and to give myself a personal wall of memories, but more importantly an insight into the English game, the grounds and people that make it great, the clubs and the players who play such a significant part.

​

Whilst I've worked as a DATA Scout I've also fronted up on the odd occasion for various clubs working with FA & PFSA Qualifications in football scouting.

​

Over the last few seasons I have showcased my scouting work for Bromley, Swindon Town, Fleetwood Town, York City and more...

 

Previously coaching non league football sides local to where I live in Nottinghamshire like Hucknall Town, Grantham Town, Rainworth MW, Loughborough Dynamo and more.
